Adult and Family Outpatient Behavioral Health

WES offers behavior health services to adults, children and families in an outpatient setting to address concerns related to the following:

Blended Enhanced Targeted Case Management (BETCM)

WES blended enhanced targeted case management program support adults with serious-persistent mental illness with maintaining optimal behavioral health in a community-based setting. BETCM is designed to address the needs of the participant in a community-based setting. This is done by continuously assessing their strengths and weaknesses to connect them to the necessary community supports based on their individual determinants of health. BETCM program is comprised of three blended teams of six targeted case managers, headed by an individual supervisor, in addition to receiving support from a D/A Specialist, Forensic Specialist, Licensed nurse, and Psychiatrist. Each team utilizes a “teaming” concept within their service provisions, ensuring each participant is supported by a case management team that works from a recovery-based model.

BETCM services are designed to support adults with the following challenges:

  • Frequent Psychiatric Hospitalization 
  • Homelessness
  • Medical Necessity Referrals
  • Community Integration
  • Substance Use
  • Forensic Re-entry Services

OMY (Our Mission is Yours) Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation

OMY (Our Mission is Yours) Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Outpatient Program provides vital support for individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Co-occurring Disorders, or Major Depression. 


Key Program Features

  • Follows the Recovery and Resiliency Model
  • Focuses on Recovery Planning, Community Integration, Peer Culture, and Family Inclusion
  • Staff includes psychiatrists, therapists (including an Art Therapist), facilitators, certified peer specialists, and a case manager
  • Group therapy two to five days per week, with individual therapy if needed
  • Saturday Cultural and Skill-building community events
  • Serves an average of 100 people in Recovery daily
  • Daily Peer Support Group
  • Group therapy topics are chosen by participants

WES @ Philly Home

WES @ Philly Home offers behavioral health services to residents living in the Philly Home housing programs. 

The services are designed for those facing the following:

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Intensive Behavioral Health Services, formerly known as BHRS and STS, is a non-urgent mental health service for children and adolescents who may be experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges in their daily lives. Eligible children have a DSM or ICD behavioral health diagnosis. 


They may be experiencing challenges including: 

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Anger
  • Hyperactivity 
  • Impulsivity 
  • History of trauma
  • Family difficulties 
  • School behavioral challenges 


Key Program Features

  • Non-urgent mental health services for children and adolescents with DSM or ICD behavioral health diagnoses
  • Support for challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger, hyperactivity, impulsivity, trauma history, family difficulties, and school behavioral issues
  • Intensive therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing and managing therapeutic needs.
  • Focus on increasing coping strategies and skill development to promote positive behaviors
  • Goal of stabilizing, maintaining, or maximizing functioning in home, school, or community settings
  • Services provided in natural contexts including home, school, and community environments
  • Individual services include Behavioral Consultant (BC), Mobile Therapy (MT), and Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
  • Behavioral Consultants assess needs, design interventions, and consult on behavioral management
  • Mobile Therapists provide individual and family therapy, assist with crisis stabilization, and develop Individual Treatment Plans (ITP)
  • Treatment interventions include Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy
  • Behavioral Health Technicians support treatment plans, collect data, and provide behavioral stabilization

Crisis Response Program (CRP)

The Crisis Response Program (CRP) is a specialized mental health service designed to provide immediate, short-term interventions for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing acute behavioral health crises. This program is tailored for individuals who may be facing severe mental and emotional distress, often requiring urgent support and assessment.


Eligibility Criteria: Participants in the CRP must be experiencing a significant behavioral health crisis and may present with various mental health diagnoses as defined by the DSM or ICD. 

Common challenges include:

  • Suicidal ideation
  • Severe anxiety or panic attacks
  • Intense mood swings or agitation
  • Substance abuse crises
  • Self-harming behaviors
  • Disruptive or dangerous behavior
  • Family or relationship crises
  • Trauma-related distress

Key Program Features

  • Immediate Crisis Intervention: CRP offers rapid response services for individuals in immediate distress, ensuring timely support to prevent escalation.
  • Community-Based Assessments: The CRP team conducts evaluations within the community, including homes, schools, and public spaces, to assess the individual's needs and determine the most appropriate interventions.
  • Crisis Management and Stabilization: The program employs a range of interventions such as voluntary hospitalization, emergency psychiatric evaluations, and crisis stabilization services to address acute needs effectively.
  • Tailored Support Strategies: CRP focuses on creating personalized safety plans and coping strategies that empower individuals to manage their crises effectively.
  • Family and Community Involvement: The program emphasizes collaboration with family members, schools, and community resources to create a supportive environment for recovery.
  • Diverse Therapeutic Approaches: Interventions may include various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
